Things are going quite well. The spatial scholars is almost done. The moviescholars is done, but also is being developed with automatic visualizations added to the output. I'm excited about that. The visualizations person is following around the elasticsearch person -- as soon as elasticsearch is done, visualizations guy comes in and starts developing. So they are working on tunescholars, moviescholars, and country scholars. These are all based on pre-defined datasets. Spatialscholars is a whole different ball game. For that the user uploads their own data and shares data with others. Spatialscholars is a mapping program. The others are using google charts, which includes timelines and maps and a bunch of kinds of charts. All are focused on conducting research so there is the ability to download datasets you create through the searches. The call center is almost done. We are developing the ability to dial in and use ivr to disposition the call -- so agent doesn't even need the computer. The agent just needs a phone signal and they can use the survey. We will then develop the ability of the system to use speech recognition and ivr to listen to the conversation and record the answers to a survey, so the agent that desires to use the system to conduct a survey will be able to say keywords that are recognized by the system and recorded as answers to the survey. This would allow survey answers to be recorded without using the computer. We already have developed the ability to transcribe messages on the icati account. This is great for taking field notes. And its pretty good for transcribing too. I'm developing another tool for transcribing (and adding subtitiles to video) that uses at&t api for speech recognition. I'm currently using a manual method with dragon. I've also got a statistic program being developed that is coming along nicely. The number generator, too, is almost done, and in a flash, I might add. I've started to build sms tools -- building an sms website, and then integrating that into the call center. Will want to turn spatial scholars into a site that displays maps or timelines. Going to add natural language processing to the scholars websites, so the nlp output appears with the regular output. Want to build an online version of nvivo, combining the above tools.
